Penn valley park is a 176-acre masterpiece of landscaping designed by renowned landscape architect George E. Kessler in 1893. Home to many of America’s iconic monuments, Penn Valley Park continues to be Kansas City’s favorite urban retreat and a destination visited by hundreds of thousands of tourists from around the globe annually.
Getting to Penn Valley Park
There’s no one way to get to Penn Valley Park. Overlooking Downtown Kansas City, Missouri, Penn Valley Park is an urban park nestled in the heart of Kansas City. The park covers the land from 31st Street to Pershing Rd. and spans from Main St. to Southwest Trafficway. Find your way around using our maps or start your visit at one of our park institutions.
